    Sennheiser RS220

Thanks for your response, I'm having to use the analogue input, as the headphones are hooked up to a mixamp pro, so i can run Dolby Headphone through them.. The mixamp only does analogue out.. I dont know of any amp that can apply Dolby Headphone and output the sound in digital.. I have asked...

mixamp / headphone set up Q..

I tried that, I had both on 50%, but still no luck..   What I've found does help is turning the volume down from the options in the game.. Bass still not as clear as I'd have hoped..   Yet to try it with a movie, will try tonight..

mixamp / headphone set up Q..

Thanks! It's working really well for Need For Speed, but when playing Black Ops, the explosions seem really distorted..   Is this normal? It's fine if I switch the "dolby headphone" off.. but that's obviously defeating the object..

I've been using these headphones with optical input for some time now, no problems, and happy with the sound.. However, I've just switched to using the analogue input and am experiencing alot of "buzzing".. There are 2 vol switches: 1st) Dial on the back of the docking station 2nd) On the...

How do I set up new cans, with a dolby decoder in between cans and source?

Cool, i will try that out, but i've always thought it's better to crank the amp up? otherwise you get clipping? or have i totally misunderstood that? im scared that im going to damage the headphones! also, if i turn it up from base station, or headphones, it increases humming sound? sorry, im...

Ok, the source is my PS3 for games/Bluray..   Optical out going into -> Astro Mixamp Pro - 3.5 analogue going into -> Sennheiser rs 220 basestation (wireless cans)   The PS3 has no volume control.   The Astro Mixamp does have a volume control.   The Sennheiser rs 220, has TWO...

recommend a dolby decoder for my cans!

Agree with the above with regards to gaming, but this set up will also be used for watching bluray/dvd.. Regardless, attempting to build a processor is overkill, not to mention way out of my depth.. I was just curious..   I will try the MixAmp Pro, and see how it goes..   Are the...

recommend a dolby decoder for my cans!

Are there no recievers/amps, I mean proper amps, not MixAmp, or Earforce DSS, that can meet my requirements?   If not, looks like MixAmp Pro it is..

recommend a dolby decoder for my cans!

Thanks for the reply!   Those that you've listed convert the signal to analog, I need to keep the signal digital.   Reason being, the RS220's base station uses a digital signal, then the cans convert to analogue. (some tech the RS220's use)   I could use analogue into the base...
