There's is definitely a difference between USB and coax/BNC/AES. Surprised you can't tell a difference but you can tell dacs apart.

I find the A2 slightly colder and dryer with a bit more attack especially on the low end and a bit more extended on the highs. Mates up perfect with my speakers. A1 is more midcentric and smooth and absolutely addicting on M Field and clear OG for me.

I like the A2 on speakers and the A1 on headphones :)

Sounds like a pain in the ass ! I have an A2 and an A1 and I can definitely hear the difference between them but was curious.

How hard is it to remove the case top to verify ? Is it a sandwich deal or is it one top piece like bifrost 2 which is easy to remove..

Sexy AF!

My clear OG getting lots of head time out of m Field and newly acquired gungnir A1. I can enjoy clear OG out of Jot 2, liquid platinum w/12AU7 tubes, DNA starlett, Flux Labs M Field and even Hip Dac 3 is a nice pairing with the clear. I've had it a year but it's recently got tons more head time...

See how much a flux labs M Field is for you to your location. I'm in love with mine and it costs about the same as MJ3 probably less for you.

All this talk of Gungnir ! Great to see G2 released. I've owned an A2 for a few years now and today was able to borrow an A1 gungnir finally after all these years. This will be fun l, never heard anything else besides the bifrost 2 and 2/64.
