custom IEM reccomendations
For power metal, definitely need treble. Not as much for mids. The only IEMS I've ever had are my Westone W40s. I had them reshelled into customs last year. I tried a pair of Shure 215's, Jaybird X2's, and other budget earbuds. I don't consider any of those to be true IEMS.- radji

Refit - Reshell service for CIEM
This is the service I used for my reshell: https://perfect-seal.com/ They did a very good job. But I had a pair of universals, so the old shells could be pulled apart and the insides removed for the custom mold. If you have a pair of customs, usually the original manufacturer will offer you...- radji

custom IEM reccomendations
Just lost my cIEMs tonight...:persevere: Blessing in disguise as they haven't worked right since I had them converted from universal to custom (were a pair of reshelled Westone W40s). So now I am on the hunt for new cIEMs. They are only for personal listening. I do use them when I exercise...- radji

Personal listening IEM recommendations
IMR does not support repair of their R1's outside of warranty. I'd have to buy new, which isn't what I want to do if they need repair. I wonder if only custom fit IEMs are repairable or is it only universal models? Could you at least point me in the right direction?- radji

Personal listening IEM recommendations
The IT04's looked nice. I'm just turned off by the 'ergonomic fit' part. Everyone's ears are different shaped so I worry their ergonomic shape won't be comfortable for long periods of use. The R1 Zenith is very attractive with the B stock price, but will IMR support out of warranty repairs...- radji

Personal listening IEM recommendations
Howdy all. This seems like a great forum to get recommendations for audio stuffs. I am now in the market for a new pair of IEMs as my Westone W40's are no longer working properly. Westone will not repair them and I cannot find anyone who will, so I reckon it's time to look at what's out there...- radji

Howdy all. I'm here to parasite all the info I can so I can make a better decision when buying my next set of IEMs. Other than that, I'm just a boring engineering student from Southern California.- radji
