I didn't hear any difference during my listening the other night. I was listening through my FIIO E17.

Has anyone tried the cable plugged into something (like port amp) that doesnt take advantage of the mic/volume rocker? Curious if it would sound the same. Tonight i'll try with both, plugged into my FIIO E17.

Has anyone tried the DT1350 compared to the Momentums? I never got a chance to hear them, but they were "on my list" of potentials.

Congrats on the Momentum! I just got mine today and love it. Although they don't need it, i much prefer the sound of them when going through my FIIO E17, although i haven't determined yet if that improvement is the amp or dac. But, overall, these are my favorite headphones i've ever owned.
