Ok so when I play (lets say 128 DSD), on JRIver, this shows up. Now when I click change settings, the DSD plays at 176.4 kHz. The question is am I hearing DSD (that's in PCM format) or PCM that's converted from DSD?

It works perfectly with my android phone (Native DSD). My DAC can play up to 44.2 mHz DSD so I don't know what's wrong on Foobar. Some DSDs convert to 176.4 kHz on Foobar but I don't get any sound no matter what. Now when I tried on JRiver, yes I hear DSD, but I don't know if I'm hearing DSD or...

Yeah no sound and my DAC is showing a 705.6 kHz PCM. SACD is at the top.

I ticked both of those boxes in the speaker properties. Foobar has exclusive control.

I installed WASAPI, changed the Output to "DSD: WASAPI (Event): Speakers (TOPPING USB DAC)," exclusive mode, enabled DoP and it just gives me an empty noise at 705.6 kHz PCM.

I think my DAC is talking to Foobar. dac is showing 22.1 mHz. but nothing coming out of Foobar. tried changing every setting. it plays flac fine, but dsd it's quiet.

Which is quiter? PCM? Yeah I hear some loudness difference. Roon appears to be a subscription. Lifetime fee is $700 (for a fricking music player?).
