Hey guys, I have a pair of Denon AH-D2000s that need to be recabled, the wire is bad near the jack.  I originally got them Grey-market, so I don't think it makes sense to ask Denon to repair them (I think they're about two years old anyway, so I doubt I have any semblance of a warranty now.) ...

It could pop out more! Then it would be everywhere? I mean, I'm not sure exactly what insulation does for this cables, but I know its there for a reason, so I'd rather it stay there.

Good to know its not just Denons. I think I'm going to use Shurtape or Gauffar tape if I can get some.

Its in like 5 spots It wasn't there when I took it out but after about 3 hours of use I noticed it. The second pic is probably the worst spot... Do I have anything to worry about? I mean, what happens if I tape it up? I might try to find something I can use to completely cover the bottom...

I find it hilarious listening to IMD after listening to Fat of the Land. I like a feel of the songs since this have a nice electronic feel, but as I Prodigy fan, I don't care for this album

Thanks, I just uploaded the pic. I saw a quick thread.... If I got this recabled with say a 1.5m cable, what kind of quality would I be looking at if I wanted to pay ~$150? I'm thinking I may keep these for 6~12 months then get them recabled.
