I would like to note that with the newest firmware the album cover is displayed from FLAC and MP3 files. One can also add Japanese fonts. Sometimes special signs like ? and / are coded in it. Firmware download link: http://www.acmee.cn/index.php?s=index/show/index&id=636

    Hifiman HE400se

As you can expect, new grills open and clear the treble and make the cans airier. On the other side, I found that the bass becomes more shy/thin but a little faster. I didn't want to change the cans on the ear side, so I decided to seal it on the open side by adding some furniture foam  ...

    Obscure Chinese DAPs

The back cover is glued... Just use the suction cup. You can use a hot air gun (or hairdryer :)) to weaken the glue slightly.

The sound is exceptional :) However, the DAP ergonomics (or rather interface) are from the previous century ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@cqtek thanks for the review, and your voice to MF02S limitation. The latest firmware update solve some of them, such as slow SD card scanning.

Go to Z4  it's nice. I had simply bad luck and was too lazy (or better, too ambitious ) to send it back to the seller from AliX. Then I did fixing systematically. That's my perfectionist nature. Frankly, I recommend Z4! If your Z4 would be crappy, send it back. I bought my in...

It's a combination of artefacts from picture stitching, lousy soldering, and unskillful fixing of issue from Post #317 :) Now looks much better. I invested in soldering stuff after buying the Z4. I'm graduated optoelectronic, but the last time I had a soldering iron in hand 20 years ago :)...

I merged 26 photos in Hugin, so there is still some artefacts after stitching and blending input pics. I'm still learning how to use Hugin. Then after some time, I will edit the below link to the next version of the file. Link to high-quality photo of ZiShan Z4 PCB v6

I set up a digital microscope during the weekend, so you can expect high-quality pictures soon :)

@Setmagic Since I have pure silence with BT mode in my Z4, I don't want to touch the battery when I don't have to :) So, for pictures of PCB from my side, you have to wait a while... Regarding the software, you have right; it comes with v0.2. Most probably version from 30.08. The polarity of...

^^^ Benefits come not from the connection but the implementation of the DAC used in Z4. The unbalanced option in Z4 switches off one of the DAC chips and limits the GND lines. Edited: I'm not sure about the above anymore...
