Thanks alot for the précious info i dont have an dac/amp combo i want a set of hd800s and the only that was stopping me was the neccesity of à laptop wich is no longer the case

Ive seen alot of people using them directly in the dap to the amp , isnt there anyway to not use a desktop / laptop

Im gonna use the 2.5 mm balanced on my sr 25 adapted to à 4.4 mm with the ground 3.5 to get the best possible results , cant wait to try them

I've bought the ier z1r and will get them next week with my sr25 , cant wait to try them , probably gonna grab hd800s down the road too

I have a grounded 2.5 to 4.4 mm balanced adapter for it so not à problem at all for the ier z1r , people run them from à dungle on iphone with no issue at all
