I dont think they are worth it at all...Just use any cd..I can suggest Opeth, they have all kinds of melodic and heavy stuff in one album usually

I would have to agree with Pink Floyd. It's weird though, some great music that you end up liking in the future doesnt necessarily sound good to you when you hear it for the first time. I think that was the case with some Pink Floyd stuff, but for the most part I liked them from first listen!

are the flats very similar to sennheiser pads? I might just get those if they are cheaper. but thanks for the tip.

To me it's one of those things that look really nice just sitting there on the table, but on the head they look ridiculous. Nice work though.

Yes, MS-1s are great I am all for using them portably, I also like that retro look - definitely hot

HD201 seems to be a popular "work headphone". Don't think it isolates completely, you should be able to hear the phone ring or someone behind you, if you don't play music too loudly. good luck
