Is that battery the original from when you bought the 4G? If so, that’s a pretty impressive life for it, my 4G battery has started to die much sooner than it used to, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s indicative of all of them.

Still love dusting off my SuperFi 5EB, they were my first “considered” IEM purchase (as opposed to just buying what was available in a store at the time) and they still have great bass even against some of the more recent bass-heavy IEMs.

Some comparisons with Merlin (Green, obviously)

Mine arrived today (customs) and Have to say they're an interesting sound. Bass-wise they definitely don't outshine the Merlin in extension or resonance, and the quad-BAs in the Merlin make it a much airier presentation immediately, but there is a nice timbre hiding in the 3DD that I suspect...

If UM won't give me a free pair (lol) I'm still highly likely to go for the custom version anyway, $600 is very reasonable in comparison to the Merlins.
