i have done a number of ipod mod rewiring directly for DAC to LOD but lately i encounter this SAD face icon i have tried removing the battery cable and reseat them it woks now lately i tried on another ipod did not work i have hard Reset center button and top most cannot u have tried...

soak it in silica gel for a week should do the trick
