    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

Yeah, he has a good point - the V1 headband is comfy but lack of swivel is a slight issue for me comfort-wise as well and the Audeze solves that. The only issue I have with the HFM version is that goofy squared off metal frame. top. Not sure why they didn't make it rounded..............

    HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama

I have the Audeze suspension strap conversion on my V2, and also own a V1. I personally find the Audeze headband much more comfy. YMMV of course.

    HifiMAN HE-6 Planar Magnetic Headphone

Man, I hear ya..............I've just about landed on "not buying another headphone" again land but still like to read about new stuff..........and trying NOT to buy something. Bought a spare HE-6SE V1 recently since my first one of this V1 I blew when I forgot to switch the preamp to speaker A...

    Hifiman HE6-SE

Forget where but you used to be able to buy the other parts from an aftermarket company. Cannot remember who it was.............

    Hifiman HE6-SE

I forget where it was sourced but it's a common "improvement" - look back through the HE-6/SE threads and you'll find it. Also on Reddit there's a great instructional on it. I was skeptical when I did it but it is amazing. https://forum.hifiguides.com/t/hifiman-he6se/7004/262?page=14...

    HifiMAN HE-6 Planar Magnetic Headphone

Folks - sorry for the diversion from HE-6 nirvana land (which I was a member twice and was in heaven with them) - Lohb my friend - you sold me some amazing Teak cups for my LA-7000 Denon headphones, which I STILL have and use the headphone regularly in my work office system. The best cups I've...

    Hifiman HE6-SE

Just FYI, the Audeze headband conversion is simple and comfort is top notch. I did mine three years ago so not sure if there is still an issue getting certain parts from Audeze but worth it as far as I'm concerned. I also now have a HE-6SE version1, which is far superior in comfort to V2 IMO...

Comment by 'Oregonian' in item 'DUNU Arashi'

Does this come with XLR connectors? With it being 26 ohm (think I read that) an easy drive but wonder how they would sound from speaker taps............

    Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners

Used to be so easy to find good vintage stuff..............even at Goodwill! Now they cull them when they come in and sell them on the bay. Was told that by a guy at the local Goodwill when I asked why there was no "silver faced stuff". We had it so good for so long................got my...

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I see the Pro version is open backed and the other versions are closed back. Have you heard both the open and closed? Interested in your input on this.

Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?

Love reading this thread............I'm not an "old fart" like many here but I've got 12+ years into this insane hobby and love reading the old folks view on things...........you guys built this site and I for one appreciate the historical perspective. YOU are all responsible for my addiction...

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.

I'm feeding it through the speaker taps of a vintage Pioneer Spec 1 pre/Spec 2 amp (250 wpc) and they are glorious..........I listened to Bagwell and put Ether angled pads on the headphone and love the sound and comfort. Rotate between the HE-500 and the HE-6SE V2 (modified with the Audeze...
