    Introducing the HIFIMAN Sundara Closed-Back

I got these with the intent of EQing. So knowing they were pretty poorly voiced stock (still better than closed stuff like the awful HD598c), I immediately tried with and without eq and these being planars clean up really well. I've had good luck eqing even Tin Hifi P1s to sound good so these...

    Schiit Audio Bifrost 2

I kinda wanna trade my 2/64 for an Ares II or 12th, but I like how I can switch inputs with a remote, works well in my home theater setup since it also doubles as a TV dac

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN H20!

I have just one issue with the Neo 3 and it is fit. I half expected it to be a slightly more comfortable Serial, but it is quite a bit worse for my ear and I've tried a bunch of tips. Something about the stem and shell shape gets my ears fatigued in less than an hour. I don't want to sell them...

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN H20!

After a long wait I got the Neo 3 and I'm afraid to say I'm liking it more than the Serial. The Serial is real good at what it does, and I love it dearly with live music, but I felt the lower mids were a bit dry (with female vocals especially) and the top end sparkle was missing. Stunning...

    The PENON official thread

It might be a crime but the 5K with the fake NOS filter is significantly less harsh than the standard filter

    The PENON official thread

Anybody tried the Serials on a newer KZ AZ adapter? I tried to wear them on the Shure tws but the fit was terrible.

    New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)

One of my drivers got disconnected and I lost all left earcup. What's the best way to open up one of these? After a year with 600 and 6XX I miss em. A 2khz boost is all they need to make me want to listen to music all night.

    Schiit Audio Bifrost 2

I haven't listened to MM2 to BF2/64 side by side, but if I were to do it again I'd just get two MM2. Only reason I got the Bifrost was because it lives in my living room setup as a dual system for TV and music so having the remote is plenty handy.

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN H20!

Thank you! I got the Serial so that is perfect. I'd go out and buy one right now if I hadn't just gotten the Raptgo Bridge which is quite impressive for the price. I'll keep waiting to see what you guys think of it. Is it as power hungry as the Serial?

ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN H20!

The shells on the NEO 3 look quite tiny and therefore comfy, anybody got a pic that better visualizes their size?

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.

Actually that's when I used the 500s the most, right before bedtime, I had a headphone rig for night sessions and the weight wasn't an issue. But primarily for me WFH time is headphone listening time so I'm usually at the desk.

    RAPTGO HOOK-X In Ear Monitor

To be fair it was used so it probably got swapped. I'm picky with cable ergonomic so I was gonna use my own regardless.

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.

The headband is kinda why I sold my HE500. Even with the zmf headband cushion the weight was s bit much if you don't have much hair on top. I didn't want to bother with a headband swap either. But they were the headphones I would grab whenever someone came to the house and I wanted to share the...

    RAPTGO HOOK-X In Ear Monitor

I had a BTG Audio cable lying around I wasnt using and it's more comfortable. Mine came with a fairly heavy microphonic purple cable. Also went straight for my azla max tips as they fatigue my ears less. I was hoping these wouldn't change that much between dacs/source, but they sound better the...

    Source for Apple Music

All of my systems have a chromecast audio hooked up to it, and on Android Apple Music has casting. So that's my go-to for everything. It matches the song's bit rate without issues.
