After they burned in the bass was good, used with a fiio e5 and fuze (no EQ).  I've had the PL-30's before and was thoroughly unimpressed no bass and they wouldn't stay in my ears.   I think I've made up my mind and am gonna go with the klipsch S4's.

Thanks   The reason I'm asking is because I'll be wearing them while biking and earbud style phones just fall out or the seal breaks (my creative ep-630's for example).  Hopefully these will stay in place.

Bit of a noobish question, but are these actually IEMs like the custom series or earbuds?  Been reading through the thread up to page 12 and still don't know lol.

Seems I can't get the VB's in the UK.  Leaning towards the S4's.  My question is do they go deep into your ear like the custom series or do they just sit in like the senheissers CX 300's for example?   Thanks

EP-630, they use the same drivers as the cx300 but cost 1/4 the price.

I just got an Asus Xonar DS, some wharfedale diamond 9.1's and a Cambridge Audio 640a v2 for ~£300. Very happy with that setup.
