Earsonics sm3 V2
Well said. Truly we all need to smell the roses sometimes. I think about the first pair of headphones i used in my life. A clunky, old full size pair that made you look like a 1960s nuclear missile radar operator… the technology is progressing at such a breakneck pace, it's almost insane to...- oclafcire

I'm just using the stock bi-flanges right now. They penetrate deeper somehow on the v2s. That's what she said, right? I've played around with a few other tips (olives, complys) but the bi-flanges really do the trick. I'd be interested in trying some TRI-flanges for even more penetration, as my...- oclafcire

My v2s sound quite a bit different (and BETTER) than my v1s. Maybe it's just my brain playing tricks on me, but I'm hearing things that cannot simply be explained by the wider holes in the tips or a more precise fit. A wider sound stage and more detailed instrument separation for starters...- oclafcire

Does anyone besides me wear their SM3s over the ear, but with the y-splitter in the front? When I do this with my v1s, the cable somehow always gets twisted in such a manner that turning my head left or right will create a "bubble" in the cord right behind my ears. This is extremely...- oclafcire

I've been using the EQu app for a while now and find that it really can improve the sound I get from my iPhone4 + SM3 combo. Here's the custom EQ curve I made. I want to see other people's custom curves, too!- oclafcire
