Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
The measurement is taken from the renowned Hobby Hifi magazine, which has been around for over 20 years. It is one of the three DIY loudspeaker magazines (next to Klang+Ton and hifi-selbstbau.de) The distortion measurement shows d2 in blue and d3 in red. d5 is absent in this graph. They...- numbercube

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
The best measuring woofer I know is the 16" Fostex FW405N. At 90 dB, THD is under 0,1% from 30 to 450 Hz. https://www.hifisound.de/out/media/pdf.php?r=72cUPiBLqtclCVjmvP6%2FvHR8b%2BUhuGfZIO4M76eR4N3ASuHhlMoOJeicEjqCRPQC0p7JVMvM6Q1gygBRSwRJlQ%3D%3D.pdf Neumann has some interesting stuff in...- numbercube

Remember: the maximum possible Sound pressure level is Lp = 20*log(0,37*f²*Sd*xmax) (for bassreflex) And...- numbercube

You are not used to very good gear. Any narrow tower speaker with small woofers automatically disqualifies as very good because of the high distortion in the bass. A better speaker with big woofers and compression drivers can be build for under 2k. I really don't mean 5-digits-expensive gear...- numbercube

The people on your side always have one thing in common. They are not accustomed sufficiently to very good audio gear. That probably takes a decade and thousands of hours of listening to good recordings. With your PSB speakers, you certainly don't have to worry about transports.- numbercube
