Need help picking out rear and center speakers.
Not really a budget build anymore haha, but i dont want to spend an absurd amount of money. $250 would be my max on the bookshelf speakers and around $100-150.One of my friends actually did the same thing and hes going to show me how to wire it up. Its practically the same set up except he has...- NosRokanaske

Need help picking out rear and center speakers.
I am going to be linking this to the Creative X7 Limited. Getting a really good deal on that unit so i may as well pair it with nice sound speakers. It can deliver up to 100W of power. Seeing as i wont have the unit for a while, im just going to save more and get nicer speakers. Im looking...- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Yeah thats just the nature of ANC headphones, but it probably varies manufacturer to manufacturer. When i tried the Bose on ears, there weren't any hissing noise that. No noise that i noticed at least, but those are like 3x the cost of the logitechs so theres that as well. Anyone have...- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Thanks for the feed back. Thats a bit underwhelming to hear to be honest. But im guessing in something like a library environment, which is where im going to be using them the most, it would be isolate pretty damn well. On car rides not so much.- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Thanks for replying. The Gemini seems like a pretty stellar steal for that price range, but it isnt in any stretch of the imagination "portable", which is really why im going to be using it as my last resort if i can't find anything compelling enough. On ebay i can get it around $90 right now...- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Could be because those headphones dont pick up extra noise in the cable to begin with. I'm not really going to amp it up haha for traveling purposes, it seems kinda pointless to me only because im going to be moving around and it adds bulk. Hopefully BestBuy or someone would get them on black...- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Alright sweet. I'll check the out when i get a chance. I think Logitech has a booth in mall near my house, hopefully its still up so i can check out the headphones. No AMP required is definitely a plus.- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Yeah I'm definitely going to check it out, i mainly wanted something that has good isolation and portable. Don't care too much about sound i got DT990 Pro's for that. When you have the ANC turned off, does it have decent isolation still?- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
Those are ANC headphones, just looking for passive noise isolation. That aside, that isnt bad for an ANC headphone that's collapsible, might check it out in a store if they have it on display. But i've been told to avoid ANC headphones because the sound quality isnt as good as passive noise...- NosRokanaske

Budget Noise Isloation On/Over Ear Headphones $100 or less
I read in that thread that you may need an amp for it, is that true? Are there smaller form factor ones that are roughly similar? They look really enticing for $60. They look very similar to my DT990 Pro.- NosRokanaske
