That's a shame, I hope they look after you with the return. Are you using the RCA inputs and outputs? Does it also happen when it's in bypass mode?

I haven't measured it, but the output seems similar to other line-level devices. Schiit's product page talks about the RCA output using a single phase of the balanced signal.

After about 6 months with the Lokius, I'm still very happy with it. Six bands does seem to be a good sweet spot for making tonal changes, without needing to be an audio engineer to avoid creating a spiky monster. I now appreciate why Schiit didn't feel the need to add more bands to the Loki Max...

Good stuff. It's great to hear that you've found the settings which suit your taste. I agree that making smaller adjustments over a wider range gives smoother results than a big adjustment of a single band. (But for the opposite situation when extreme adjustments are needed in a single band...

Is anyone aware of a device out there that's similar to the mythical Loki Max please? I am seeking a hardware stereo EQ that has at least 8 bands and a remote control. So far my search results are either pre-1990s or modern rack-mount pro gear, neither of which have a remote. Thanks, Simon
