Nice review, and thanks for doing it!  How well do these isolate the sound/ block out ambient noise?  I'm using Bose QC20 right now, but I would really like to move on.  The active noise cancelling is nice, but overall sound quality is not amazing for it's high price range. =P

I just came across this cable made for the m50x to have play/pause/volume functionality on the cable. I have read elsewhere that this cable does indeed work.

Is it possible to give the M50x an iphone remote cable, since non-AT cables don't fit the M50x?  I'm guessing that you would need to be willing to sacrifice one of the 3 cable it came with, probably whichever one you don't plan on using much.  You would have to cut of the end and do some...
