Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
Just keep watching Amazon's prices for the next week, there might be a brief time when the price is < $200. Like when the RE-400 dropped down to $49 from $79. And maybe the new prices will be permanent if Hifiman likes the sales they made.- Neosk

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
Haha, your post saved me 30 dollars, thanks. The RE-600 sale wasn't supposed to officially start until tomorrow, but I guess a few sellers want a head start to move their products quickly.- Neosk

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
It was $49 for a brief time on Wednesday when HIFIMAN was the vendor. Fortunately I grabbed a pair before the price stabilized. They price may drop again, keep on the look out. Quote:- Neosk

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
Have you looked at the DUNU DN-1000/DN-2000 models yet? The DN-2000 definitely has the treble sparkle and bass response that you are looking for but they are priced at $300. DN-1000 is priced at $200 and should be similar, but I haven't personally listened to this model so I can't say anything...- Neosk

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
I bought the RE400 for $49 on Amazon the other day and just received it today, and HOLY AMAZING BALLS. Best $50 dollar audio purchase I ever made. I was afraid that the treble will be too bright for me, but the headphone is not that bright at all. It's actually darker than what I consider...- Neosk

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
So what is the general consensus on what the price should have been for the RE600? $150-250? Seems like everyone agrees that the RE400 is waaaay better in value compared to its pricier sibling and some people actually prefer the RE400 over the RE600.- Neosk

HiFiMAN RE-600 Review
Hey, So I had the RE262 since 2011 and they have been my favorite IEMs since then. I am itching to pull the trigger on buying the RE600 but I have a few questions: 1. Do the cables harden over time? This has been an issue with my RE262 since the cables are stiff to the point that I can hold...- Neosk

Schiit Magni Headphone Amplifier
Yeah I have the q701 and the upper midrange is naturally shouty. That is one of the flaws of the headphone itself.- Neosk

I have hd598, do I be necessary to get hd600 and hd650?
Quote: ^ If you are happy with the HD598, you don't need the hd600 or hd650. The upgrades after the 100-200 dollar mark are marginal at best. The most important thing is to find the sound signature you like the best.- Neosk

Headphones or IEMs with VERY forward midrange
RE262s, one of the best forward midrange I have ever heard on either headphones or IEMS.- Neosk
