I think I like the RE400 more than the RE600.   Am I high? lol

Just keep watching Amazon's prices for the next week, there might be a brief time when the price is < $200. Like when the RE-400 dropped down to $49 from $79. And maybe the new prices will be permanent if Hifiman likes the sales they made.

It was $49 for a brief time on Wednesday when HIFIMAN was the vendor. Fortunately I grabbed a pair before the price stabilized. They price may drop again, keep on the look out.     Quote:

So what is the general consensus on what the price should have been for the RE600? $150-250?  Seems like everyone agrees that the RE400 is waaaay better in value compared to its pricier sibling and some people actually prefer the RE400 over the RE600.

Hey, So I had the RE262 since 2011 and they have been my favorite IEMs since then. I am itching to pull the trigger on buying the RE600 but I have a few questions:   1. Do the cables harden over time? This has been an issue with my RE262 since the cables are stiff to the point that I can hold...

Yeah I have the q701 and the upper midrange is naturally shouty. That is one of the flaws of the headphone itself.

lol   No noise-cancelling headphone is good enough to block that loud of a music played in clubs. Your best bet is with IEMs or if you have the cash you can supplement your iems by wearing a noise-cancelling headphone over them while listening to your IEMs.
