Nice, i actually returned mine. wanted to try them and see the quality, sadly they are a tad uncomfortable after long use. =( but still best sounding iem's i have personally used. im sure there are way better out there. Just got to find the right pair for me, i only use them for movies and music...

i now this an old thread, but i jsut got a pair of N-ergy's tonight and after the tape mod, i(im no audio expert) these are so comfortable an sound amazing! 

Decided to try out a pair of monster N-ergy in ear headphones. They work really well Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

im finding that as the same price, around 99$  i have about 2 weeks to decide, and maybe prices will change around that time. 

Is there a cheaper amp and DAC that is going to work nicely? also if there is a way to have a live equalizer on this setup, i am interested. 

nvm, those are 300$.... way out of my budget. 

are they deep in bass, and comfortable? 

My biggest worry is not getting enough bass, i really do love a lot of bass when listening to music, and not just electronic or dubstep, i love really bassy heavy metal etc. and i know using this setup i have no Equalizer.. so im still kinda skeptical. 

I live in the north eastern US. I would updater my profile, but i have not been able to have access to that yet =(  bt the 250 ohms are about 160 ish and the 30/80 ones are 229+    so I'm not sure what to do. and i prefer closed headphones because i do vocal covers, and i also have a small...

i wanted the more bassy version, however they are way more expensive. and i only have a budget of 500$ for everything.
