The "Lovely Cube" Headphone Amp (Lehmann Black Cube Linear Clone)
Quote: Thanks for your reply. Does your Lovely Cube get hot running Class A like some of the Matrix M-Stage? I'm wondering if it'll affect the durability of the Nichicon caps since they are rated at 85C instead of Elna at 105C. They are very close to those heatsinks! One more...- myscoobysti

The "Lovely Cube" Headphone Amp (Lehmann Black Cube Linear Clone)
aspenx, are there any differences in the sound signature in stock form compared to your previous lovely cube that's using the Elna caps? Which is better, Elna or Nichicon? Btw, what camera are you using? Nice color.- myscoobysti

Where to go from the Sony V6?
Quote: My V6 is also made in Japan and it's almost 10 years old. It's pretty much like what you described, lots of treble and almost no bass.- myscoobysti

Matrix M-Stage amp review: simple, cheap, and excellent.
This amp must be selling like hot cakes on ebay. It is so competitive that some sellers are giving one HLLY TAMP-20 free with every purchase!! Talk about good bargain. I wonder if that will pressure some other sellers to lower their price or give a better deal?- myscoobysti

First proper headphones-considering MDR-V6
Try to get the M50 if you can. I bought the V6 for my first headphone after doing a lot of research here. I was impressed at first but it was too harsh for long hours of listening. Another thing that you need to take into consideration is cost of replacing the ear pads. Good luck and stay away...- myscoobysti

Matrix M-Stage amp review: simple, cheap, and excellent.
I'm curious... what are the chances of the parts like caps, resistors or even the APLS pot being fake? I'm not saying that the Matrix M-Stage uses fake parts or everything that's made in China is fake. I'm just wondering how can one tell if the parts are the real deal.- myscoobysti

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
Quote: Anyone?... I find it hard to get any reply in this forum....sigh! Is it because I'm a total noob? Or is it because I ask stupid questions? I just need some help deciding because some say the Bravo/Indeed can drive the dt990/600 and some say that the Phenix G3 can as well. I...- myscoobysti

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
Can this amp power the dt990/600 properly? I've read that it can but I'm still a bit sceptical since it's not an OTL. I'm considering getting this (Bravo V2 / Indeed G2) or the Phenix G3. I listen to electronic, jazz and rock and I'm also worried that the Phenix G3 might not be fast enough...- myscoobysti

Amp3
I'm planning to get the AMP3 and SRH840. Anybody tried them together? I would appreciate your feedbacks. Just for reference, I find that my MDR-V6 too bright and the bass not tight enough and deep enough coming out of an iMac. I was disappointed by the sound of the V6 after doing all the...- myscoobysti
