Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
Wow. Thank you so much for the detailed response and measurements. So I did try the 900 pads on the 770. I did not like it at all. Sounded harsh and robbed them of most of their low end. Also the lip that holds the ear pad onto the 770 is a sharp edge when using the other pads. As much as I love...- Mxracer327

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
I currently have the 900 pro x and the 770 pro x in my possession, but one will be going back. Trying not to disturb the wife as she hates my k702's because of how much they leak, so I tried the 900 pro x since rtings rates their leakage as lowest in the open back category. Well to my dismay...- Mxracer327

Suggestions for upgrade for newbie
Hi, I own a pair of Sennheiser hd201 that I have fell in love with the sound but I'm ready for an upgrade. I want to stay under around $100 and I want something closed and no larger then the 201's in size. I recently tried Vmoda crossfades but the sound was awful. I like a flat response and...- Mxracer327

Htc one vs htc one x+ audio quality
Hi I'm new to head-fi. I wanted to know if anyone has experienced both of these phones side by side. I I have both and have a really hard time justifying the extra money I spent on the htc one because I think the one x+ sounds excellent. If anything the htc one sounds only the slightest bit...- Mxracer327
