Thanks Kim. I'll probably get the ****'s and just keep them for different Genres if I don't prefer them to my TF10s. Plus sometimes I like lots of bass with my EDM.

From my experience this is an earthing problem. Have you tried a different power cable on your power supply or double checked it's output and earth connections?

As long as you buy them locally it will come with a 240v to 24v DC wall wart. Otherwise a replacement could be sourced fairly easily through Mouser.

  @HiFan, Whats the level of detail retrieval like with the HD650 and the RNHP?   Going to be picking the RNHP up for my TH-X00 and a future Focal Elear (when available in Oz) but using a HD650 until I can get my hand on an Elear.    Thanks for your observations by the way.

@Sophonax this is actually a better suggestion if it's only $40. You'd be hard pressed making a cable for this, especially if you don't have access to a soldering iron already.

I have the Fostex TH-X00 and all I can say is that the sound is incredible. Great Lows and Highs and decent mids, fantastic speration for a closed can. Decently priced and they also look great.

Honestly soldering cable is fairly easy if you wanna give it a go. Watch a few videos online and look at some guides and you'll be fine. Just make sure to use cheaper materials on your first cable so you have practice if you wanna solder a better quality one later on.

I found this going from my other sources. Recently got a Aune X1S and it really made this headphone sound amazing. It always sounded great but after the DAC/AMP change out it just had so much more authority and blew my mind.
