small shure foams seem to work very well for pretty much every one. comply too, they are even slightly more comfortable as they are softer. but these desintegrate way to fast and shure get softer after a while.- motorbit

so, i just checked and my memory fooled me. there is a difference, but its much smaller, less them 5mm. it never bothered me much so i noticed it when it arrived but never payed any more attention to it. i edited the post you quoted to correct my mistake. well. i think i came through way to...- motorbit

shure black s are almost perfect for me - but just almost. after a few hours my ears will start to hurt a little, they are a bit to hard. standard complys are softer and i can use them all day long. bummer tho, shures seem to be much more durable then the complys.- motorbit

(edit: i vastly overestimated this in memory) im realy happy with the phones, but not so...- motorbit

yeah well. anything else would mean it was a crappy player. its not the job of any amplifier to change the sound, but to produce a clear and unalterated signal. if you want it different, use an eq.- motorbit

well. i guess that depends on what you desire in sound qualitly. right out of the box the pd will have a very liniar frequency output. tbh i would think it rediculous if it was any different. especially at that price.- motorbit

hm, you are right. i should not have written that. even if i know that dental water jets are fine (on lowest setting), someone could harm himself trying that. i should not put myself into a position where i could be responsible.- motorbit

i think they all have the same inner diameter, witch fits the etys. the rest has to fit your ear... as they are intended for headphones that get way less deep insterted, we need smaller sizes for the etys. the smallest size (green) fits me just nice and with very strong seal that is actualy...- motorbit

for me the stock tips didnt work at all. westone star green fit perfect and i have no issues whatsoever. maybe these would be a solution for you toom a single flange irritates the skin way less when removing the headphones. proably the most accurate uvulas ever made.- motorbit

hm, i could add another excuse, its one of the rare pices of modern hardware that uses philips screws instead of glue and comes with an easy to access battery. the display also has proven to be very scratch resistant to me. i never use a case or anything, and the display still looks as the day i...- motorbit
