small shure foams seem to work very well for pretty much every one. comply too, they are even slightly more comfortable as they are softer. but these desintegrate way to fast and shure get softer after a while.

so, i just checked and my memory fooled me. there is a difference, but its much smaller, less them 5mm. it never bothered me much so i noticed it when it arrived but never payed any more attention to it. i edited the post you quoted to correct my mistake. well. i think i came through way to...

shure black s are almost perfect for me - but just almost. after a few hours my ears will start to hurt a little, they are a bit to hard. standard complys are softer and i can use them all day long. bummer tho, shures seem to be much more durable then the complys.

i too had to send back my first pair realy early due to cable issues (within 2 weeks). the second pair works fine till now one leg is slightly longer then the other not a huge issue, but it shows something. (edit: i vastly overestimated this in memory) im realy happy with the phones, but not so...

i also want to point out that files may become unplayabler even if the card contains much less then 128gb of data. when i ran into issues with my sdd card, i used the windows disk manager to partition my card with one partition of 128gb. i left the rest of the space unused and then used the...

if you mean a folder named music, it is not neccesary for the sd card.

have you tried to use a file format the player supports?

yeah well. anything else would mean it was a crappy player. its not the job of any amplifier to change the sound, but to produce a clear and unalterated signal. if you want it different, use an eq.

well. i guess that depends on what you desire in sound qualitly. right out of the box the pd will have a very liniar frequency output. tbh i would think it rediculous if it was any different. especially at that price.

hm, you are right. i should not have written that. even if i know that dental water jets are fine (on lowest setting), someone could harm himself trying that. i should not put myself into a position where i could be responsible.

i think they all have the same inner diameter, witch fits the etys. the rest has to fit your ear... as they are intended for headphones that get way less deep insterted, we need smaller sizes for the etys. the smallest size (green) fits me just nice and with very strong seal that is actualy...

for me the stock tips didnt work at all. westone star green fit perfect and i have no issues whatsoever. maybe these would be a solution for you toom a single flange irritates the skin way less when removing the headphones. proably the most accurate uvulas ever made.

hm, i could add another excuse, its one of the rare pices of modern hardware that uses philips screws instead of glue and comes with an easy to access battery. the display also has proven to be very scratch resistant to me. i never use a case or anything, and the display still looks as the day i...

only 128 gb work? bummer :/ anyway, i *think* the file limit is only for the database. i think it should play them in folder mode. not 100% sure tho, have not reached that limit yet. another question: i learned that the player will show lyrics stored in the "UNSYNCED LYRICS" tag. hwoever, it...

so i tried westone star and comply t-100 tips now. i do like the westones by far the most from all the stock and the two aftermarket tips. best sound and best comfort. however: im a bit worried i could damage my speakers when i pull them out of my ear. there is so much vaccum! so... is there...

hehe chris, i guess i found out why you put that small flange behind the large one. my modded biflanges suddenly lost any and all seal when i put them in today after a day of usage. took me some time to find out why, but apparently the larger flange had folded in on itself so it lost seal. i...

my advise to anyone who can not use the triflanges as they come is to remove the largest flange and see if they fit this way. after all, if they dont fit there is nothing lost if the mod doenst work neither. for me, the large triflanges modded to biflanges work extremely well. like, i can eat...

thanks for all the tips! i think im good with the large triflanges cut down to twoflanges now. i get tight seal with them and i can wear them for hours. still, the westone long singleflanges look interesting. might test them when i need replacement, so thank you for the link :)

hm, i just removed the thrid flange from the L triflanges, but kept the stem. ok yes, thats a very deep feeling O.o just for confirmation, i am supposed to stop before i reach my brain? anyway, seal is nice this way. only issue i have is that i fear the tip remains in my ear when i remove the...

as they are to small inside and to large outside, i dont see how they ever can become comfortable for me :frowning2: hm, these tips seem to exist only in small and large. usually, M fits me best tho. can you say witch of them both would more likely fit M size?

im confident they will! as for comfort, i think they are comfortable. i need somewhat smaller foams, thats all. its not as if im THAT sensetive in this regard. im quite sure the t-100 M size will do the trick.
