I wouldn't recommend the K702 for the music you listen to, as they are more suited to classical and acoustic. The Beyerdynamic DT990 is probably your best choice, but the Asus Essence may have a little trouble driving them.

This seems like a way to get the general public informed about lossless, and perhaps to keep people listening to .mp3 files rather than switch to FLAC as PMPs continue growing in storage space.

Your best bet would be to look online - local cable shops are likely to be overpriced.

A few months ago I saw a guy wearing a pair of Grados while mowing his lawn. How he heard his music I'm not so sure of.

A few years ago, a similar incident occurred where a PSU blew up in front of me. I've found that loud noises exacerbate the tinnitus, so you should avoid them for a while. It might not ever completely go away.

Just a minor correction, 144db + a 50db noise floor does not equal 180db. That's like saying a few people talking at 60db each is as loud as a lawn mower.   Quote:
