iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!
I always, wrongly, assumed that "tip rolling" referred to squishing a memory foam tip between your fingers before inserting. I did some some quick tip-swapping, and definitely noticed a difference between the different silicone tips that came with the IT01. I forgot that I had some Comply 600s...- misterawesome

iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!
A couple of tips questions... I don't understand why the it01 ships with different bore widths on them. I figured that the wide tips would require a wide bore - are there sonic differences with the different bores? I've...- misterawesome

I can spend no more than $300, and will be listening via iPod or cellphone more of the time. I've been satisfied with the sound on the SE425s...- misterawesome

Thanks for the responses. As for whether the X-Fi has a phono pre-amp, I was going off of the product description from Creative: “The rear panel features optical I/O, gold-plated stereo RCA I/O plus an integrated phono preamp for direct recording of your vinyl collection from your...- misterawesome

Considering External Sound Card to Improve Home Audio System
I have what may be a basic question, but one I haven’t seen answered in my searches. I’m looking for a quick/easy way to “bump up” the sound from a basic home audio system. I’m asking to help a family member, so I don’t have specific model numbers – but my question isn’t about the equipment as...- misterawesome
