Enjoying the CDM with some nice little upgrades :) I would definitely recommend buying the Phillips 6021w, the sound is so much better than with the stock ones.

You need the c-media usb driver to play dsd64 on Mac, that’s the usb chipset’s limitation. The problem is that I can’t find the right one for modern macos :(

Hey Folks I have finally got the CDM, and I love it. Even though the device is quite old, it still rocks! Got it with the Raytheon 6832, Sonotone 5719, and Sylvania 5977 plus the stoke ones. Waiting for Phillips 6021 and those unmarked 6021 from eBay to arrive. I've got a small question...

Some users reported that 3rd party lightning cables didn't work, I haven't tried myself as I was able to buy the lotoo one with a discount in pair with the s1 itself.

I love how the S1 plays with IMR Atens from both my iPhone and Mac, but I've been sick of losing one of two cables all the time. So I ended up with an ultimate solution :)

The new atens don’t change a lot in the sound signature, just some improvements here and there. I wouldn’t upgrade if the fit of the 1st gen is OK. And both sound so great with Lotoo s1.

After about 70 hours of burn-in, with red bottom/black top combination: The highs are much more realistic and gentle, the mids more detailed, haven’t noticed any significant changes to the lower end. The changes aren’t drastic though, for me the major factor to buy the new atens was the fit, I...
