Hi fellows. It's said using speaker amp for planar headphone is a great plan. I am looking for a speaker to 4 pin xlr adapter for my K1000 and HE-6. I checked everywhere but find nobody sell or craft this kind of adapter. Do you guys have any idea?

If you want uptier headphone, I think you need new amp. I recommend Violectric Audio HPA series.

why not try HD800?

because when Beyerdynamic put them on sale years ago, there was no such a cable upgrading wave.

if you like the style of ATH, you can go for AD2000. But for Beyerdynamic , do not buy its 32ohm version.

Anyone uses it on PSU? how about the upgrade?

Chord Mojo must be better than ha-2 on DAC, not sure their performence on amp.

NFB28 drives most headphone well , maybe not perfect on T1 or HD800 but it is much better than m9xx. depends on what headphones you are using.

I owned a WA6SE, the biggest problem was it has only 6.3 output. Additionally it cannot drive my hd800 well..... WA22 has XLR output but it is not "real balanced", but it sounds much better than WA6SE. On this price, why not buy a littledot?
