Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.
I recently got these gem and they sound exceptional for a sub 20 bucks headphone. But that big sub bass roll off is kinda ruining the listening rejoicement for me on many tracks. Even with E10K's bass boost on, they lacks the mid bass punch not to mention the sub bass. I'm aware people do...- mib91

Creative Aurvana Live! Review and Mods
So, in that regard, wouldn't the stock pads should sound better than aftermarket thicker angled pads? :P After the pads swap, my hunch is telling me that CAL! goes unnatural with angled pads. So, I was kinda thinking getting of a Brainwavz Memory foam pads which is still thicker than stock but...- mib91

Philips SHP9500 Discussion Thread
Pairing it with a warm source definitely brings out more fun and enjoyable sound over stock. With E10K's bass boost on, it serves good amount of extension in sub-bass having more body and texture with punchier mid-bass that overall makes the whole signature ever so alluring to me. The clarity...- mib91

Creative Aurvana Live! Review and Mods
I've replaced the original pads with Brainwavz Angled pleather and it kinda let me down. Both lows and soundstage get improved but CAL! seems to loose its composure on both at the same time. With the original pads, bass body on them wasn't particularly tight in first place but it feels like it...- mib91

Philips SHE3580 IEM review--how can something sound so good for $10???
Anybody recables SHE3850 or SHE3950? My one's cable's plastic coating fell off and it gets this ugly look on them. Thus wondering if some one has any recable experience with these. Might pull off a recable on them if I can figure out how to open the shell without damaging.- mib91

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
Thank you. But I'm primarily interested to know how much of power in mW/W I need to provide at ~32ohm for those planners to bloom in full.- mib91

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
For a given amp, anybody know the exact power output(in watt) it needs to deliver at ~32ohm which would arguably consider as the 'sweet spot' for 400i?- mib91

Help me to identify and resolve this weird noise out of DAC/AMP
Thanks. I'll try to do those. Not sure if it'd be of any help but the cable routing was actually same before and after upgrading the cable. Notebook's wifi is always turned off. Any other suggestion meanwhile?- mib91

Help me to identify and resolve this weird noise out of DAC/AMP
I never saw the noise begin with phone operations you mentioned. Btw, the dac/amp usually sits closely(less than a foot) behind either a monitor or notebook.- mib91

Help me to identify and resolve this weird noise out of DAC/AMP
Occasionally. Perhaps I can answer it better if you could tell me the minimal distance between them that could possibly initiate an interference?- mib91

Help me to identify and resolve this weird noise out of DAC/AMP
Although, recorded and uploaded to youtube by someone I don't know but my ELE D02 dac/combo makes this type of very loud sound even when no media plays in computer. The noise doesn't go on for more than 5-10 seconds(thank God!) but it generates in nearly full volume regardless of OS/Player's...- mib91

ELE DAC Thread
Hey man, that notorious noise issue I was having months ago seems to come back again to hunt me. :( Since I changed the cable the noise almost became nonexistent. I checked on multiple computer and the noise often generates even when there is no media(song/video) playing. I looked on...- mib91
