yes I'm listening to them right now. vast improvement over the regular 700s I had but I wish I waited as I see many people got the 900x for like $20 more. not sure how the two compare but the 700x does sound damn good so not complaining.

would swapping out the stock pads for my a700x's be a good choice/fit? the pads fit over my ears and are great. the 700x doesn't have a noticeably open soundstage. it is not bad, but they aren't HD598s.

I just got the A700X but am considering getting the Pro700MK2. do you guys think that would be a good move? they sound great but I would like more bass :) how nice is the soundstage on the pros? also do the 700pro pads fit over your entire ear after cotton modding? also, how is the pleather...

ATH-A700X. I just got mine yesterday and they're awesome. Super comfortable, solid build quality, and they sound great. Decent bass and awesome mids. Good isolation. 

damn, this sucks. 700x got delayed "due to operation disruption". However, the regular A700s that I had ordered were shipped before I canceled and somehow are coming today. so pretty much I'm going to test them both and sell/return whichever one I don't prefer. will post impressions of the 700s...

Well, I will be using these with my computer (Realtek HD) and my iPod touch 2nd gen.

I went ahead and got the RX700s. As I said, I'll break them in for a bit and see if I like them... if not, I'll get the DT770/80 (was my first choice).
