    First Ipod: Nano 4-Gig

thanks for the advice, on further thought i think its better that i go first for better cans and then worry about an amp, the cans i have now are very efficient already and my sources are good enough to drive them. I think i will use the money on a used cd player, which was my previous and...

    First Ipod: Nano 4-Gig

My advice: if you already have the phones you are planning to use dont research reading, research them by using and enjoying them. read stuff when you want to compare with things you dont have, and even so you will find that some opinions are a bit skewed and/or dont match your subjective...

Decent price on Shure E2C should i get them?

I think every poster here should have some sort of certification, because EN4´s post is VERY misleading (and im not saying my opinion is better, its just my EXPERIENCE with the phones). my SR80 has DEFINITELY more detail and resolution than my E2c The bass roll off adressed by tfunk408...

    Please Help D-33

To be honest many things could have happened to your discman that could be fixed, but you need to say more info: -is the disc spinning when you turn on the player? -does it make a sound that is typical from the transport and pickup (like searching for something) -what kind of power source...
