I want to be able to use my custom equalizer settings and have them applied to the line output.  How will setting the equalizer setting to OFF accomplish that?   thanks

Question on the line output.  Is it affected by the settings on the equalizer if same is engaged?  Does the line output bypass any equalizer settings?

Buy them from a vendor like B&H photo who has a no hassle 30 return policy without a restocking fee.  You are only risking the return postage costs if you don't like them.  That's what I did, but I fell in love and still have mine.

Whats with those multiple small holes around the inner surface of the XL pads?   There are no similar holes in the original pads.  I have a pair of both grey and black XL pads and they both have the holes.  Anyone have any idea as to their purpose?  They expose what looks like regular foam...

Question for Val or anyone with knowledge:  I currently use a ipod classic 160gb with apple lossless as my source and vmoda M-100 for headphones.  My dac/amp is a fostex hp-p1.  Would I gain anything by switching to a vamp verza?  I know it is more versatile but how does it sound in comparison...

Does anyone have experience with prior pre-releases?  Does it really take 6-8 weeks to get your ordered item(in this case xl pads).  Seems like with all the work Val put into developing these he wouldn't offer them on pre-release until they were almost ready to ship and he had some to sell.
