Managed to open mine up and re-cable them. Actually not that hard to dismantle. Look for the "crack" running through the middle of the driver housing and use a sharp knife to break the seal. Both parts are connected only with glue.    Anyways I'd like to know what cable and plugs did you buy...

Update - managed to open the Eterna's and re-cable them with cable from one of my old Sony earphones. Anyways point being - they now work again :) Thou I'd like to use a better cable. Any recommendations ?
