How many songs do you have in your music library?
525. FLAC. I had a crazy episode and deleted my entire collection about a month ago. Was 19,000 tracks, all FLAC. Now I get to start fresh and do things properly. Until I realize IT'S ALL WRONG and my brain explodes. Currently going through my small CD collection and ripping them again.- Lord Crow

Question about cheap CD's from china
It's counterfeit. I bought some counterfeit anime soundtracks and the quality was hit or miss. Overall most of them were great. Sounded perfect and most of the time the booklets were really good. Sometimes the booklets looked cheap but not awful and only 2 of the soundtracks I bought had...- Lord Crow

Like Metal, but don't like the cookie monster death vocals? ...Have you listened to Opeth?
I don't like the growly metal either. For the most part I don't like vocals with metal at all, it rarely works for me. That's why I listen to instrumental metal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHAUQNTwYZo -

BLIND TEST: 128kbps mp3 vs Lossless
Pretty easy at first out of my tablet and (crap) Sony buds. B was just fuller. After awhile though they both started sounding the same. Got it right without reading any comments but I doubt I could tell the different between even 256 & lossless, at least with my current gear.- Lord Crow

lossy audio codec comparison photos and sound clips
There's a very old thread like this one. JPGs were used but it doesn't really matter except on the highest bitrate lossy encodes.- Lord Crow
