Micro iUSB3.0 Impressions Thread
Hi alekc, I installed the v2.23 but still can’t initialize the driver if the iUSB3.0 is connected to the Micro iDSD. I’m starting to think that it could be either a physical issue; bad USB cable, iUSB3.0 internals, or a firmware issue. Thanks all the same for trying to help.- looge

Micro iUSB3.0 Impressions Thread
I recently updated the iFi USB audio driver to ver 3.2 and found that my music player can’t recognize my Micro iDSD (non BL) that’s connected to the iUSB3.0. Raised a ticket with iFi Audio support and was told to use ver 2.26 driver instead. Did just that but same result; device not initialized/...- looge

Micro iUSB3.0 Impressions Thread
So far I’ve been using the Micro iUSB 3.0 exclusively with the Micro iDSD. I’m awaiting the arrival my new Denafrips DAC and I’m wondering if it can be used with the iUSB 3.0. Has anyone any experience with the two together, will it be plug n play? Cheers- looge

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote
When the new X3 comes out, perhaps FiiO can do another slogan contest like the one they did sometime back, remember that?- looge

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.
I'm also using the Micro iDSD with my rather old hifi system as a DAC as follows; Fiio X3II > iDSD > cheap China made tube preamp > old active speakers, In the beginning I didn't expect too much thinking that the sound will come out tinny or worse, distort but much to my surprise the sound is...- looge

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.
Asked this in another thread but no response. Anyone using iFI SPDIF iPurifier with the iDSD Micro's coaxial input? Is it a worthwhile addition between my DAP transport and iDSD Micro because it seems that the SPDIF iPurifier is being advertised to be used with products other than iFI. Perhaps...- looge

i-Fi SPDIF iPurifier impressions
I've the Micro iDSD and Micro iUSB3.0 when listening via USB input. Sometimes I'd use the iDSD's coax input to plug in my Fiio X3II. Would the SPDIF iPurifier be a worthwhile addition between my X3II and iDSD? It seems that it is being advertised to be used with products other than iFI, Perhaps...- looge

Audeze LCD-X
Anyone is using the LCD-X with the Sony Walkman NW-WM1Z, especially through the balanced output, any thoughts compared to AK etc? Would the stock LCD-X cable with a 4.4mm jack to 4 pin XLR female balanced adapter be good enough or would custom balanced cables be better. Thanks.- looge

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
So I reckon the only straightforward option is to use the 3.5mm output from the 1Z as lineout into my home stereo poweramp, although not sure sq would be any good since the headphone output is not really a dedicated lineout. Thanks.- looge

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
Actually I want to use one of the NW-WM1Z's outputs as an analog line out to a power amp. Since the WM port only outputs digital and as you said the 4.4mm might cause a short, I guess I've to settle using the 3.5mm output using a 3.55mm to RCA adapter. Wouldn't want to risk damaging the player...- looge

iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.
Can anyone confirm that the iDSD Micro works with the Sony Walkman NW-WM1Z/1A if used with the Sony WMC-NWH10 cable adapter (WM port to USB A female). I asked in the Sony thread but received no response. Thanks.- looge

Sony NW-WM1A with Audeze LCD-X and iFi Micro IDSD I have the Audeze LCD-X that I listen through the iFi Micro IDSD and before I make the plunge to get the Sony NW-WM1A, appreciate anyone who has the same gear combination give some comments. Which adapter do you recommend to use to connect...- looge
