    Decware CSP3

Hey, I'm doing alright. It's almost seven years since I've moved to Ohio from Texas and I've still got my Dad to focus on and enjoy time with, and I have a lovely wife who I try to spoil, and I'm beginning to downsize my massive disc collection which is a project for the next few years. I don't...

    Decware CSP3

Mr. H, glad to see you posting (I haven't visited here in a while). Happy New Year and hope all is well. I am still using the Taboo Mk III that I obtained from you, though the LCD-2 are no longer working. The Decware headphone amps are wonderful in my systems.

    Decware CSP3

The CSP3-25 compares very favorably to the Taboo Mk IV. My CSP3-25 was modified by Steve Deckert to incorporate a glass resistor he has been playing around with successfully and he has bypassed the input gain controls. As a result I can't really turn up the gain very much with the headphones I...

    Decware CSP3

No sorry, no experience with either of those. Since '97 I have used only Decware pre-amplification and headphone amps (CSP2, CSP2+, CSP3-25, Taboo Mk III and Taboo Mk IV).

LCD-2 and LCD-3 Owners - which aftermarket cable do you use?

I have an LCD-2 and with the XLR connection to my Decware Taboo Mk III, Tabloo Mk IV and CSP3-25th anniversary I have used the stock cables, a cable I bought made with Cardas 4-24 wire, a Moon Audio Silver Dragon, and a set of ArcticCables made with UPOCC copper. I was using the Moon Audio most...

    Decware CSP3

I'm using a CSP3 with 25th Anniversary mods and really enjoying it with my Sennheiser HD-800S headphones. Mine is further modified in that the input gain adjustment stage is bypassed with a glass resistor that Steve had been experimenting with. This means that I have the amp gain at a very low...

    Arctic Cables Discussion Thread

I too ordered a UPOCC 3 meter cable for my Sennheiser HD800S. I also have a 3 meter UPOCC cable from ArcticCables for my Audeze LCD-2 headphones. I loved these so much that I ordered the cable for the HD800S. The new versions I have are very thin and flexible, with a fabric covering. The sound...

    Medical Grade Power Cords?

I don't see the description mentioning a shield, which is generally a foil layer underneath the final jacketing. That said, I don't see a reason why this cord would not work well in that application, unless you already know that you have a definite need for a shielded cable.

DECWARE HAS RELEASED A DAC!! ZDAC-1

I can see that.  It's a very low risk for me, because since 1997 I've had Decware products in my home and I know their build quality and their value.    I don't expect any component to be new every day forever. . . . This long weekend past the DAC did move forward into a new level of great...

DECWARE HAS RELEASED A DAC!! ZDAC-1

In so many ways, each day now is a new frontier!   I'm continuing to enjoy this great DAC. I'm listening to an AIR cd right now and the percussion is so FAST!

DECWARE HAS RELEASED A DAC!! ZDAC-1

I believe him. He's talked about it over the last few years, and others have reported visiting him there.   I'm sure the Zanden sounded better. But over 9 thousand more. how much better?

DECWARE HAS RELEASED A DAC!! ZDAC-1

I've given my impressions on the ZDAC-1. I'm not going to be buying any other DACs to compare it to in the near future, I'm done buying right now. This DAC is giving me great sound on all three of my sources.  If I were to decide to improve the sound on my sources in my bedroom system, I'd buy...

DECWARE HAS RELEASED A DAC!! ZDAC-1

The only problem I have with your post is that Steve is not "my buddy." Never met the man.  I think he and I have drastically different politics, not sure I'd "hang" with the man.  I HAVE supported his audio products because I've lived with many and KNOW how they sound.
