What should one expect a $1000.00 IEM to feel like....or look like? Should one care what a $XXXX IEM feels like...or looks like? Are look and feel as important as the SQ???....in the same sentence?

Help me out here...what is the difference between litz and non-litz? With your W60's, please describe what differences you can make out between your silver and silver litz cables.

I recommend you take a look at the Westone W40's before springing $500 for the Shure 535's. IMO, much more musical especially for female vocals and classical, my two primary listening types.

IMO, you have chosen very wisely. Experimenting with the 10 sets of included tips will be time well spent.

BTW, just received yesterday 535-V's Bronze from Shure as out-of-warranty replacements for my 7-year old 530's that still worked but.had too many "bandages" on the cables to be usable. Cost is $240 plus state tax...in my case $246 all-in plus a few bucks to ship the 530's to Shure. Turnaround: 6...

Shure will replace your 530's with 535's for $240. 846's are NOT an option, as Shure's policy is to replace "with nearest available" to what you send them.
