Starting to see a pattern emerge on the basis of 2 people! Exact same impressions as you! From design to comfort and sound. Also love my Px8 but IO-12 offer a more refined sound. Just wish they looked as classy as the Px8.

Interestingly enough, I doubt people will be able to tell it's worth that much! It doesn't scream luxury the way a Focal Stellia does. However, people will probably look at you funny given how bulk they look! 😁

I would say clear and natural. Not clear as in lean or analytical... Rather well balanced. Px8 is more bassy, yet intimate soundstage. IO-12 is more open and natural. Only in hi-fi mode of course. Hope this helps

Just bought them in Paris yesterday. 950 eur. Will compare it against my B&W Px8 and Audeze Maxwell. Will also check performance diff between wireless and wired... But for now, here are my very first impressions, to be confirmed over time... - Very comfortable earpads. Quite spacious inside...

Bought lots on hifi-go and the likes but luckily never had to return anything so can't say how cheap and friendly they are for returns... On top of it, like many people here, no personal hands-on experience with Hiby devices...so risks are compounding!

Same need here. Also curious to know if AK fixed obvious weaknesses from its past such as sluggish CPU, poor wifi performance for instance...

Was thinking about this DAP but not easy to find it in France indeed! Sounds like I need to order it straight from Hiby or usual chifi resellers like hifi-go... did you end up buying it? If so, where from?
