It is depends on how you define good bass. For me it has good quality bass but not enough quantity. And only estate amp I find can give x9k acceptable bass is Grand Cayman. But with that amp Shangri La Sr. had much authority in bass, so X9k became bottleneck again... I guess what I want to say...
