Sub-100 DAC?
I am looking to get a DAC for somewhere around 100 or under. It doesn't need to be portable but I guess if it was that would be a plus, also it doesn't need to have an amp with it. I am mainly going to be using it when sitting at my desk and with Sennheiser HD650's. Thanks.- Kosley

Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners
It is a fairly new system. I am just going to purchase them and see from there. It works great with my great with my Beyer DT770s but if I need to get a DAC it won't be an issue.- Kosley

Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners
I was linked to this thread to ask this question. I am going to buy the Senn HD650's in about a day, and I was wondering if my receiver would function as a DAC/AMP. I am mainly just worried about needing to buy a DAC, as I know the amplification is fine as it powers my Beyer dt 770s a lot better...- Kosley

Will my receiver be able to power HD650's?
I was really looking at getting the HD650s as they are right in my budget range. I was wondering if my Yamaha 5.1 stereo receiver would be able to work as an AMP so I could use the HD650's, or if I would need to get an amp. I was also wondering if you need a DAC on top of a receiver. I don't...- Kosley
