Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
5 hours in and I pretty much agree with this. I wish the sound stage was a little bigger but otherwise they are solid. I definitely like them better than the 660s and they sound a little more balanced than the 650s.- Kneel2Galvatron

Meze 99 Classics Discussion + Impressions Thread
I started using them last week. I completely agree with you. I use them mostly for gaming so it's not big issue with me. The bass is not tight enough to pull it off. Overall it's a good headphone at the price point. The grado GH2 and OPPO pm1 spoiled me with good low end. My ears are tainted now.- Kneel2Galvatron

New Gaming Headset, need some advices
I was using the hd650s for a while. It's great gaming headphone if you want to avoid any harsh sounds. I just picked up the Meze 99 classics for gaming. They are pretty good for a closed back headphones. Decent sound stage and good bass. Very comfortable and easy to drive. They have more of fun...- Kneel2Galvatron

Meze 99 Classics Discussion + Impressions Thread
I just got a pair of classics yesterday. They sound pretty good. The only thing that bugs me are the vocals. They sound a little recessed. Is this because of the larger pads or the just the sound sig?- Kneel2Galvatron

Yea the Meze cable. I was looking at the silver. I would use the 3.5 adapter on my home dac/amp.- Kneel2Galvatron

Will upgrading the cable make a difference? I don't plan on running in balanced. Idk if I should buy the classics without the upgraded cable.- Kneel2Galvatron

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
To be honest, I don't remember. Can jam was ridiculous. So many damn headphones at once is hard to take in. You really just remember your impression when you walk away. I went in looking for the sundara so I spent a little more time with it. I noticed the overall clarity, vocals and sound stage...- Kneel2Galvatron

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
The build was also a step up from past products. I don't remember all the details of the sound but I walked away very impressed.- Kneel2Galvatron

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
I heard the Sundara yesterday at Can Jam. I thought it was the best value open headphone at the show. If your in the market for sub $1000 can, you should check them out. If you like the hifiman house sound, you will probably love them. They have great clarity and are easy to drive. I thought...- Kneel2Galvatron

MrSpeakers AEON Flow Open Review: A Soulful Classic
I only had them for a short period of time but they are excellent headphones. Great all around headphones. Good review. I have the 660s and the Afo are a level above in sound quality imo.- Kneel2Galvatron

Sennheiser HD660S... Finally a successor for the HD650?
Based on that, I would recommend the 660s. I paid $450 in the usa. Look out for coupons on Sennheiser's website.- Kneel2Galvatron

Sennheiser HD660S... Finally a successor for the HD650?
Absolutely worth the price difference if you don't already have a pair of 600 series head phones imo. Debatable if you already own a 650. I can see a lot of people holding onto both. The resale value is so low right now for the 650s.- Kneel2Galvatron

Sennheiser HD660S... Finally a successor for the HD650?
It's closer to the 650s. They are cleaner with a punchier and more transparent sound . Little details in the music are popping out. Instruments and vocals sound a little better to me. I'm not blown away but still satisfied. It will appeal to anyone who likes the house sound but wants something...- Kneel2Galvatron
