Okay I know this is bais but Ive tried every damn page on google and its not fixing anything. My pc dont output sound at all. I got a xonar essence stx with a headphone amp an 250 ohm headphone, recently did an upgrade with my cpu but not no sound at all. Drivers up to date, hardphones...

Title says the topic, would be paired with Asus Xonar essence STX as source. Mainly for gaming (sound whoring) and general music (metal,rock) witch is better? I'm not sure about what kind of sound I like, probably with good base.   edit: Or anny suggestions in that price range

Worth buying 250 Ohm version for gaming at 170$ price tag over Q701 at 240$? What should I buy to drive those the DT990? Kinda have to hurry cause the sale end in 2 hours I think

At this point I was thinking about the Audioengine D1 Paired with either HD 598 or HD 585 Or the AKG Q701 Or even HiFiMan HE-300 Headphones. On those, witch would fit more a large soundstage and a good bass?
