Trying to evaluate sub-150$ headphones for mixing EDM. After searching on the Internet it seems the best 2 options are the Rode NTH-100 and Austrian Audio Hi-X15. Has anyone heard both of these? Is there a third better option?

I recently bought the Soundcore Anker Life Q20 which sound ok for $50.00 but the sound is a little bit tinny. Highs seem exaggerated and would prefer more aggressive mids. Anyone know of headphones under $100 that sound better? Must be wireless. Active noise cancelling is optional.

Pro x look nice a bit pricey though. Im def going with Austrian Audio and I'll compare with one other headphones probably some vmoda

Thx those look interesting. The 200 dollar ones you suggested seem to be more "at home" headphones based on construction and appearance. I want it to be rugged/ plain looking enough to where I can take it to the bus or gym

AKG K371 looks very promising after reading the documentation. I never messed with AKG before but I think it would be the best choice going forward. Thank you for your response it was very helpful and well articulated.

I have heard very good things about Shure headphones I think it would be worth testing. What about a good USB DAC/AMP combo? Do you think what I have is the best one below 150$?
