Headphones for Remote work, Calls & Music

I just tried several USB headsets and so far, here are the 2 clear winners: Logitech Zone Wired USB-C Headset - Best music quality for what it is. Not heavy, but not as light as the Blackwire 3320. Better for music...

Headphones for Remote work, Calls & Music

I didn't know you could add a mic to a headset that doesn't have one. Interesting. They even have a bundle with an add-on mic on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/L2-Headphone-Attachable-Microphone-Headphones/dp/B08L476VBX/

Headphones for Remote work, Calls & Music

I hesitate to put this under "Full-Size" headphones because the solution might not be full size. Many of us are working remote or in an office environment all day and are in and out of calls, music, videos, etc. Huge cans get heavy, hot and aren't well suited to 8+ hours of work with them every...

2015 Best on-ear headphone options (TMJ Sufferer)

It looks like those Audioquest NightHawks also have that oblong shape that those Hifiman Anandas do above. Maybe that's key. I also have a set of Sony WH-1000XM3 which I thought were great at first but found my TMJ issues would return if I wore them for extended periods. For moderate use they...

2015 Best on-ear headphone options (TMJ Sufferer)

On ear do not cause me TMJ issues, but tend to not sound as good or feel good pressing against your ears themselves for extended use. If there was a light weight, high end set of headphones that were on ear I would buy them just to try but they all seem like corner cutting models and they save...

2015 Best on-ear headphone options (TMJ Sufferer)

I still haven't found an answer. The only thing I've been able to wear for extended periods were Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10 earbuds/iems with Comply tips. I could wear them for the entire 30 hours travel from the US to Australia. Shure SE846's I can't do more than 4 hours and I've tried all...

2015 Best on-ear headphone options (TMJ Sufferer)

These threads come up but seldom get a great answer. I'm in the same boat and it's frustrating because I've tried some great headphones I've had to get rid of because I can't wear them without jaw trouble.

I assume you mean Shure E2 IEMS. I actually have a pair of Shure SE846's that are great but sometimes you want that more "in the room" feeling rather than "in your head" feeling.

2020 - Most comfortable high end headphones under $2k?

Audeze support said the only thing I could try is a steel headband instead of carbon fiber, but they didn't sound too hopeful that it would help. Silverears, that's a relly good point on the HD800's and varied fit affecting their performance. Interestingly, Sennheiser has reduced the price of...

2020 - Most comfortable high end headphones under $2k?

I have a pair of Audeze LCD-MX4 headphones and absolutely love the sound quality (RME ADI-2 DAC) But I find they clamp too much on my head which affects my TMJ issues if I wear them for extended periods of time. I contacted Audeze support and they said they basically are what they are...

    Audeze LCD-MX4

The regular version with updated AKM AK4493 chip Yeah, I've used my MX4's with a LGV35 phone and surprised how good it was, but wasn't as good as with a proper desktop amp. I'm not just looking to drive them, but looking to drive them to the peak of their capability, or near it. I'm really...

    Audeze LCD-MX4

How are the LCD-MX4's directly into the RME ADI-2 and are they sensitive enough that you use the smaller IEM output or the larger regular headphone out? I just finally gave in and ordered the ADI-2 and wondering if it will be adequate or if I should consider adding a THX 789 or 887 so I can use...

    Audeze LCD-MX4

I'm so in love with these, it's pretty amazing. I'm a chronic upgrader with every hobby I have but can honestly say I don't want or need anything else. I've "arrived" with these MX4's and have never said that with headphones before. So now I'm just focusing on music.
