I too recommend to do the genuine check for the IE7 , because I have seen many rubbish chinese fakes selling at my place. They used to sound like listening through hollow tubes, but now a days they come with heavy boomer bass, which makes people sit back and satisfy. so do the genuine check...

The Sony is the inventor of portable audio, and they researched this heavily. They have really great headphones. Why do you people omit them? Is it on purpose?
