In my case, it probably was a batch issue. First one charged very quickly and drained quickly. The second one charged at normal speed. But the battery drained when it was switched off within a few days.

Got my 3rd replacement Gryphon a few days ago. No battery issue for now. It is from a new batch. (-:

I bought the Gryphon for its portability and versatility. iDSD is a marvelous unit but it does not have 4.4 mm out. I think the Signature has such an option. I do not see it as a portable unit. Rather transportable. On paper, Gryphon should take 5 to 6 hours the charge with a suitable charger...

Green Mitter case is very pretty with some vintage look. Such a nice device and IE600 is complementing its glory very well. I hope I could solve the battery issue. Simply the best portable device I had for long time provided it solves its power management issue.
