How to repair my Leather Earpads for my DT770?

So sad .  It was a pain to get these in the first place because they don't ship to Canada and needed to order them to a relative in the US.  These are the authentic German-made leather earpads purchased directly from Beyerdynamic USA.   I don't know what product is the best to use...

Need help getting ASIO to work with Asus Xonar Essence STX

Go to your Mixer. Click the Recording button. Make sure you are not monitoring the Mic, Aux or Line In ports. This solved the problem for me.

I want to order Leather earpads for my DT770... anyone know the part number?

Yeah, unfortunately ericj is right. I have to settle for the leatherette pads that come with the 770-M. Even worse is that since I'm in Canada, I have to go through this middleman dealer that has exclusive distribution rights for Beyer here. Boo.

I want to order Leather earpads for my DT770... anyone know the part number?

I called beyer's US office today and the operator told me to call tomorrow because the office was closing. I was wondering if anyone knows the part number for the Leather (not velour) earpads for the beyer headphones. Specifically the DT770pro 80ohm (although I think they're all the same size...

    Amp advice (DT770pro/80)

I would like to know as well! Right now I have a PA2v2 and it doesnt cut it for my 770/80s... it seems too good to be true to pay only that much for a tube amp.

If the K1000's are so awesome, why were they discontinued?

Or is it that people only realized they were good after they were discontinued lol.

    A couple PA2v2 questions

^ I use the line out with the amp, but i use the headphone jack on the Xfi I/O port when not using the amp.

    A couple PA2v2 questions

Yeah, you're right kool bubba ice. I realized that the amp actually does work well with stuff thats 24 ohms and under or with high sensitivity. I have cheap panasonic headphones, and I can't turn the amp past 1/4 when run through the X-fi. Ironically, I don't really need an amp for low...

    A couple PA2v2 questions

^thanks for your response Towert7... I've tried everything you mentioned, and more than once too! In fact, I've tried all that a long time ago. Is it really that I listen too loud? Because the amp is no louder than plugged straight into the X-fi! Sure, it CAN go louder, but all it is is...

    A couple PA2v2 questions

Thanks azncookiecutter. I can't really tell a difference without the batteries installed, so I may as well not use them. Fang: At first, I used Ni-MH batteries, Duracell Rechargeable ACCU (AA/HR6/DC1500 NiMH/1.2V/2050mAh)... I tried a new pair, and I tried an old pair. Then I tried...

    A couple PA2v2 questions

The PA2v2 can't drive my headphones any louder than usual without introducing distortion... the only exception is on my gameboy... on my cd player with line out, on my TV and on my PC sound card I can't get louder sound, it's effectively useless. I tried 3 headphones of varying impedence...

    What's a good synergy for the DT770pro80?

Yeah I heard that's a good DAC... I am just thinking this is an amp issue though, since the amp distorts at my preferred listening levels, even when running a CD player to it with a LineOut... and listening is quite fatiguing too.

    What's a good synergy for the DT770pro80?

well, i forgot that I had a CD player with a LineOut (sanyo cd player with a 1bit DAC). So I tried that with my PA2V2... Bottom line, I get major distortion once i get to about 60% volume, doesn't matter what the headphone is... tried Panasonic RP-HT40 (24 ohms), Sony MDR-V500dj (40 ohms)...
